Workbench Journal – Vertabrae Fluidity

Wednesday, 3 pm – A week to the day before Christmas.

A tip we posted earlier today on our Facebook page, suggested that If you do not know someone very well when choosing a jewelry gift, it can be easier to select a bracelet or pendant, as opposed to a ring or earrings. A bracelet is an especially good choice that appeals to both men and women.

The next time you are around people who wear a lot of jewelry, notice how the style of their earrings and rings tends to be noticeably more ornate than the style of bracelets they might be wearing at the same time. This does not mean that a bracelet needs to be dull in appearance. In fact, most people have a good sense of style and this is precisely why they balance out their jewelry assortment by bringing attention to the hands with ornate rings while wearing equally stunning, yet somehow more fluid jewelry around their wrist. This is a winning combination indeed.

One way to accomplish this is with a bracelet that makes a strong statement with a simple, yet unique design.

You have seen the snake vertebrae bracelet here before. It is quite popular precisely because of its simple, yet incredibly fluid design. There is something utterly organic about it. Nature often inspires art for good reason.
