Once Upon a Stunning Pendant… and Two Sheep

Was it 10 days ago, already, when we took a glimpse at the workbench? At the time, various pieces were laid out for Silvio to ponder what new expression he might conjure up from the shapes and materials at hand.

It would be fun to watch as elements come together in a stop-motion animation. The chains and rings might have come out of their box, while no one was watching, and assembled on the bench for a meeting, or better yet, for a dance. Yes. That’s it. It was a dance, one that moved in accord with Silvio’s mental process as he constructed possible designs on the backdrop of his mind.

Meanwhile, on the corner shelves, papier maché sheep join the collection of gift boxes and pouches. Notice the theme? Nearly everything on display here serves as a container for jewelry or any other treasure. The sheep feature a saddle basket made of stylish fabric. They are about 6 inches high at ear tip.

At the workbench, Silvio is busy with repairs and special orders for Santa Fe, as well as several custom designs he cannot talk about or show because they are Christmas gifts… maybe for you!
