Silvio’s Workbench – A Stunning Diamond Pendant

Friday, 4 pm

A little over a week ago, Silvio began work on a unique diamond pendant. This piece shows the progression from concept to manifestation admirably well.

“What to do with so many diamonds so that it is not too uniform?” wondered Silvio. The idea of a slide pendant took shape naturally, as if the diamonds themselves had suggested the vertical motion of a light, refreshing rainfall. Or is it dew drops on long, silvery blades of grass?

“I blended a bit of fine gold in with the gold the customer gave me, to refresh it and prevent brittleness,” remarks Silvio.

Like sparkling dew drops nestled in gold, it catches the eye.
