Snap Shot No. 12

Thursday, 4:15. “What have you got to show me today?’ I asked. The answer came from the door as Pippa Dorfman walked in to pick up her bracelet.

Her eyes filled with awe the moment Silvio presented it to her. “Ha!” she exclaimed, “I am on my way to yoga class and this will give me great energy.”

Pippa teaches yoga at The ArtfullCup Studio as well as at Johnson Yoga Center. You may have seen her Pippa-Hippa-Hoops at Reclaimed Aura also.

“Do you have a moment for a few pictures?” asked Silvio, “Here, put it on.”

Silence, and then, “Whoaaaaaw!”

Turquoise, fossilized coral & fine silver

“How does it feel on your arm. I can adjust it if it’s not quite right,” offered Silvio. “It feels so right. It is perfect. It is so pretty,” replied Pippa without hesitation. She turned to me to explain: “My mom had asked me what I wanted for my graduation. You can have anything you want, she said. I said anything from Silvio.”

With these words, Pippa dances joyfully for a brief instant, thanks Silvio with a quick hug, and out the door she goes, light as a feather, to teach her yoga class.
